Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Asad offers Islamically integrated psychotherapy that treats mental, physical, and spiritual health as connected. He works with individuals, couples, and families, with a particular focus on men and on Muslim clients navigating the tension between faith and life in a secular world. Much of his work centres on addiction and impulse control, including pornography and sexual addiction, and the toll they take on relationships and on a person's connection to faith.
Therapy with Asad often starts with narrative and emotion-focused work to understand what sits beneath the struggle. From there, he uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, coping skills, and values-based goal setting to support lasting behaviour change. Asad also brings more than a decade of experience coaching clients toward health and wellness as a qualified personal trainer.
